What is the 'Socium' e-ticket?

– An automated fare collection and payment system (ASOOP), implemented and operating since the end of 2021, currently in three communities (Stryi, Hrabovetsko-Dulibivska, and Morshyn OTG).

What is the 'Socium' transport card for?

– It is a plastic card with a contactless chip that allows you to pay for travel cashlessly on urban and suburban public transport in OTGs where ASOOP operates.

Can I use the 'Socium' transport card without a mobile application?

– Yes, you can use the card regardless of whether you have the mobile app. Upon boarding, the passenger scans the card at the validator, which automatically deducts the required fare for the trip to the specified location.

How can I check the card balance?

– When paying for travel with the 'Socium' card, the validator prints a paper ticket that shows the remaining balance available for other trips.

Where can I top up the 'Socium' transport card?

– Passengers can top up their 'Socium' card at EasyPay self-service payment terminals (select 'Tickets, Travel' – 'Socium' – enter 'Card Number' – insert cash – top up the transport card with the desired amount).

In which localities can I buy a transport card?

– Currently available in Stryi at the 'Navchalna Knyha' store (Khmelnytskoho St., 39) and at the Stryi Bus Station AS-3 (Pasazh). The number of points of sale is gradually increasing.

How to apply for a discounted 'Socium' e-ticket?

– To obtain a personalized social 'Socium' card, a resident must be listed in the local OTG’s social protection registers submitted to the operator, and also visit the nearest CNAP with: 1) a Ukrainian passport (or ID card), 2) tax identification number (certificate or on the ID card), and 3) pension certificate (or other document confirming eligibility for benefits).

Can another person use a beneficiary's card?

– No, the benefit card is personalized. If someone else attempts to use another person's card, it will be confiscated by the driver and the benefit will be revoked.
